Dear Friends,

We are eager to meet together for our next CS Monitor prayer session on Monday, October 5th at 7pm ET. These meetings bring forth insightful discussions and wonderful opportunities to come together in a thoughtful and prayerful way for our world. Brian will be our host. We would love to have you join us.

This week we have an article with the focus of EUROPE that we will consider together. The link is listed below. It is helpful to have read or listened to the article beforehand, but you are welcome to join us regardless. Feel free to share this email with others who might want to participate, as well.

The US wants a Ukraine peace deal. Here’s why Russia isn’t biting.

WHY WE WROTE THIS

Once again, peace talks to settle the war in Ukraine appear to be a possibility. But the Russians show confidence that they still hold the catbird seat on the battlefield, meaning a deal likely turns on Ukraine backing down.

We are looking forward to this expression of church that propels us towards prayer.

Warmly

Your JP Monitor prayer team (Brian, Janell, Joe, Sarah and Tee)
